The AEC-6520 Intel Celeron M-based IP65 environmentally protected high-performance box PC features fanless operation, compact size, robust construction, low power requirements, DC power operation, high vibration/shock protection, wide operating temperature range and certified embedded OS support.

The AEC-6520 utilises an Intel Celeron M 1GHz processor with a single DDR SODIMM socket supporting up to 1 GB of RAM. This model is equipped with environmentally sealed connectors for DC power, a USB 2.0 port, a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, two COM ports and a VGA port on the front panel. An internal CompactFlash Socket provides operating system and program storage.

The AEC-6520 provides IP65 protection and a fanless design in a small, compact unit capable of operating across a wide operating temperature range from 15 to +60 °C.

The AEC-6520 has withstood tough vibration testing up to 5 g RMS and shock testing to 50 g peak acceleration. The AEC-6520 is supplied with brackets for wall or bench mounting. The longevity and high reliability of this embedded controller, along with support for Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE and Red Hat Linux, ensure the AEC-6520 is suitable for a diverse range of applications.
