The TPC-1771H is a 17″ control panel PC that features a choice between a PCI-e or a mini-PCIe expansion slot which can be used to expand the functionality through third-party or Advantech add-on cards, such as the industrial communication module, Wi-Fi, 3G, Profibus, CANOpen, Profinet and Ethernet/IP.

In the event of a power failure, there is a battery backup 1 MB SRAM which ensures that important data isn’t deleted and important settings such as the PID settings or log file are available once power has been restored.

All of the TPC xx71H series are fanless and offer low power consumption Intel Atom Dual Core 1.8 GHz processor, 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM and resistive touch screen. I/O ports include two RS232 with isolation, an RS422/485 with auto flow control and isolation, two USB 2.0 ports and two Gb Ethernet LAN ports. For data storage the fanless TPC devices also include a Compact Flash Slot and a 2.5″ SATA HDD. With an operating temperature range of 0-50°C and NEMA4/ IP65 approved front panels, they are suitable for a range of machine automation and factory automation applications, as well as for use in outdoor applications.
