Turck to distribute Bihl+Wiedemann
Turck Australia has announced a formal business relationship with German company Bihl+Wiedemann GmbH in which Turck will serve as the authorised distributor of Bihl+Wiedemann interface products in Australia. The two companies have successfully worked together for several years, as Turck also distributes Bihl+Wiedemann products in the United States. This arrangement will provide customers with access to Bihl+Wiedemann interface products across Australia.
"By establishing this business relationship, we are providing Australian customers with a single supplier capable of meeting the most diverse industrial equipment needs," said Cameron Dwyer, Managing Director of Turck Australia. "Our combined product offering includes highest-quality automation technology and interface products for industrial networks."
Turck's expertise in industrial automation spans sensors, connectivity, instrumentation, and network and interface products. Bihl+Wiedemann will add safety interface products such as AS-Interface gateways and speed monitors to this selection, along with interface technology to suit most fieldbus communication protocols.
"Bihl+Wiedemann decided to take this step because our product ranges complement each other very well," said Fabricio Granados, Head of International Sales for Bihl+Wiedemann. "Our collaboration allows us to bring a more complete and convenient supplier solution to our Australian customer base."
