Sullair on show at HRIA Convention
The compressor technology group Sullair Australia will be an exhibitor at the 2010 Hire & Rental Industry Association (HRIA) Convention on Queensland's Gold Coast in May.
The company will display a selection from its diesel-driven portable air compressor range, as well as a number of its heavy-duty, air-driven tools, including hammers, paving breakers and rock drills. A team of Sullair Australia compressed air specialists will also be on hand to provide technical insight and practical advice.
Sullair Australia's National Sales Manager, Ian Tessmann, said: “Whether used to increase capacity in times of high load, restore production during maintenance, perform pipeline pressure testing, or for emergency breakdowns, reliability is paramount. Sullair Australia has a proven track record of reliability and performance across some of the most demanding environments in the country.”
The company’s diesel-driven rotary screw portable compressors will be be on display and visitors will be able to gain technical insight into the Sullair 185DPQ (which delivers compressed air at a rate of 185 cfm at 125 psig) and the Sullair 260DPQ (which delivers compressed air at a rate of 260 cfm at 145 psig). Suitable for routine maintenance applications, both compressors have a compact design and provide users with good levels of manoeuvrability and accessibility.
Sullair Australia will also exhibit a selection of its air-driven tools, including hammers, paving breakers and rock drills. Tessmann said: “Unlike other similar tools, our paving breakers don't require additional oil lubrication, which saves time and maintenance,” he said. “Additional savings can be realised thanks to the paving breaker’s efficient compressed air use. The unit’s direct-impact piston design minimises air consumption without compromising performance.”
Additionally, Sullair’s paving breakers are quiet. The piston impacts directly on the steel shank rather than a tappet, which reduces noise levels dramatically. The silenced units are handy for smaller concrete-breaking applications like those in built-up or residential areas and they are ergonomically designed. “The minimal vibration and reduced kickback means less fatigue for the operator,” said Tessmann. “The unit's combination of manoeuvrability and hard-hitting power allows users to complete jobs sooner, while maximising the operator's comfort.
“It’s important for our hire and rental customers to understand that when their own customers go out to their remote sites with a Sullair product, they’re not on their own,” Tessman said. “Our service technicians and support crew are always at hand to ensure their compressed air solutions remain online. After all, Sullair compressed air solutions are designed and manufactured to withstand the hot, humid and dusty conditions experienced on Australia’s industrial sites.”
Sullair Australia's display is at Stands 230 and 231 at the HRIA Convention at Conrad Jupiters, Gold Coast, Queensland from 4 to 7 May.
