Smith Flow Control names exclusive Australian distributor
Smith Flow Control (SFC) has changed its Australian distribution methods, appointing WA company Teksal Controls as its exclusive Australian distributor and systems integrator of its valve interlocking and control and process safety products. Previously, SFC worked with a range of distributors across Australia.
“Due to the unprecedented growth of the gas industry in Australia and our commitment to ensuring the successful project management and integration of our products, we chose to appoint an experienced national distributor to enhance our capabilities,” said Kim McKay, Regional Manager of SFC Australia.
“By streamlining our distribution through such an experienced company as Teksal, we are strengthening our commitment to our Australian customers.”
Teksal specialises in process and automation safety and has successfully completed interlocking projects in Australia and overseas for companies such as Woodside, Chevron, Conoco Phillips, Origin Energy, Apache Energy and BHP.
Teksal has been affiliated with SFC for more than 15 years. Its technicians are factory trained with construction Blue/White Cards and are MSIC and TBOSIET certified to support SFC’s interlocks both on- and offshore.
