Siemens appoints new NSW Regional Manager
Siemens Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr Raj Kapoor to the position of Regional Manager for Siemens Ltd in New South Wales.
Kapoor brings extensive experience to the position, having worked for over 25 years in the IT&T sector in large Global Blue Chip Companies in London, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Australia. He commenced his career with IBM as an engineer and has held a number of senior executive roles since, including Regional Operational Director, Director of Sales Asia Pac, through to General Management as CEO of BT Australasia for the past six years.
More recently, Kapoor has held an Executive Director/Strategic Consultant position for Orange Business Services, with responsibility for driving profitable accelerated growth.
Siemens Chairman and Managing Director Albert Goller said he was pleased to welcome Kapoor into the Siemens team and credits his extensive IT&T sector experience and his recent position of CEO of BT Australasia as central factors to his success in the Siemens team and the New South Wales market.

As Regional Manager of Siemens New South Wales, Kapoor’s main focus will be to continue to raise the profile of Siemens as a technology-based solutions provider whereby Siemens can work strategically with customers to provide viable solutions.
