Schneider Electric announces Electro80 as first Safety Alliance System Integrator Partner in Asia Pacific
Schneider Electric has announced its first Safety Alliance System Integrator Partner, Electro80. The partnership makes Electro80 the first Triconex System Integrator in the Asia Pacific region and amongst a select few specialised partners across the globe.
A Schneider Electric System Integrator partner since 1996, Electro80 was selected for the partnership based on its proven track record of championing safety and process optimisation in the Australian industrial market, as well as meeting the strict criteria outlined by the Alliance Program.
Electro80 Managing Director Sergej Divkovic said the robust selection criteria was one of the many benefits of coming on board as a Schneider Electric Safety Alliance System Integrator Partner when it comes to credibility in the market.
“Triconex is the world-leading process safety product and Schneider Electric has always been a frontrunner in regards to safety and automation through the Triconex brand. When we heard about the partnership opportunity at the Schneider Electric Global Process Automation Conference in Dallas we grabbed it with both hands.
“This partnership complements our position in the market and expands our already strong Schneider Electric offering. We are thrilled to be named the first partner in the APAC region.”
Schneider Electric launched the Safety Alliance System Integrator Partner program after its acquisition of Invensys, which saw the addition of Triconex to its safety automation range.
“Under our Triconex brand, Tricon CX is the market-leading compact system for safety and critical control applications and it ensures operational integrity, protecting against inherent risk and hazards, as well as external threats such as cyber attack.
“We created the partnership program because we wanted to enable our systems integrators to continue to grow in proficiency and market credibility in the safety sector,” said Neil Smith, director, process automation offer management and business development for Schneider Electric Pacific Zone.
“We are delighted to have partnered with Electro80, who are one of our largest system integrators, and it will bring our customers even more choice in how their solutions are delivered.”
