Rockwell moves South Pacific headquarters
After a quarter of a century in Blackburn, Rockwell Automation has moved up the road to Bayswater. The company’s South Pacific headquarters are now based at 841 Mountain Highway in Bayswater.
The new $4 million facility provides a customer training centre, a dedicated project engineering staging area and a test and repair facility. The training centre will be used not only for training but also to conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations for clients.
“Bayswater is an ideal location for access to both local and regional customers. The new facility provides space for the growing team at Rockwell Automation and includes a Customer Briefing Room featuring a nine-metre-wide display wall focusing on Plant Wide Optimisation and Machine Builder Performance,” said Twain Drewett, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand.
An official opening was held on 8 March, with several distinguished guests in attendance: Mark Dreyfus, the Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Innovation; Heidi Victoria, the Member for Bayswater; Tim Piper, Director Victoria, Australian Industry Group; Bob Ruff, Rockwell Automation’s President Asia Pacific; and Ted Crandall, Senior Vice President of Finance. Rockwell Automation’s entire leadership team from the Asia Pacific Region joined the guests to officially open the new premises.
