NERA returns as a principal sponsor of AOG2019
NERA has announced its return in 2019 as a principal sponsor of the Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference from 13–15 March at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In 2019, NERA brings to AOG a showcase of programs, workshops, networking and engagement opportunities to support the LNG industry explore new technologies, optimise assets, increase productivity and improve future developments.
The Innovation Station is the hub for NERA’s AOG activities and networking events across the three days of the conference, where delegates can take time to talk with innovators and collaborators who are transforming the oil and gas industry. They can then explore new technologies at NERA’s Innovation Pods and learn from entrepreneurs who will showcase their innovative products and services in the fields of data and digitisation, automation and robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
NERA will also be offering its Unplugged sessions, featuring guest speakers delivering informative and interactive discussions on topics that relate to innovators and SMEs in in a low-key, relaxed and informal setting.
Speakers will cover a range of topics from a range of areas and will encourage questions and participation from those present, offering a more engaging format and a genuine opportunity to discuss and explore opportunities, experiences or lessons learned.
Following its successful debut in 2018, NERA’s SME ConnectER returns to AOG this year in an earlier and more compact event format. On the mornings of Thursday 14 and Friday 15 March, a curated selection of SMEs will pitch their products and services to participating companies with the aim of getting connected with the right people to continue a conversation about their technology.
Following this private event, 30 participating SMEs will each showcase their solutions to a range of operators, contractors and service providers at a Pod at NERA’s Innovation Station for the day, where AOG visitors can learn about their innovations. NERA has once again joined co-sponsors Woodside, Chevron, Deloitte and the WA Government to curate AOG’s Collaboration Forum in 2019. NERA CEO Miranda Taylor and GM Francis Norman join a selection of speakers who will present on topics to enhance collaboration and build a greater understanding of challenges facing the industry.
