IICA to hold Technology Expo in Wollongong

The Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation is an open arena for members to build their networks and knowledge, and to kick off 2022, it will be running its first Technology Expo for the year in Wollongong. The event will be on Wednesday, 30 March between 2 and 6:30 pm at the Wests Illawarra Club.

Sponsoring the expo will be ifm efector, Endress+Hauser, Weidmüller, Phoenix Contract, Emerson and Pilz. They will be among the 45 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services in instrumentation, automation, telemetry and other hardware and software technologies.

On entering, visitors can register to win one of several lucky draws that will be happening throughout the day; refreshments will also be provided.

Exhibitor preview

Below is a short preview of what visitors will be able to see at the expo:

ADM will be showcasing a range of power supplies, process control and data management solutions, industrial transducers and sensors, encoders, and test and measurement instrumentation, including EMF radiation meters and monitoring equipment.

Colterlec will be showcasing a range of products from industry leading brands, including Marechal switch disconnectors and decontactors and Phoenix EMS stainless steel enclosures and enclosed load break switches.

Fluke will be demonstrating acoustic and thermal imagers, digital pressure calibrators, motor drive analysers, documenting process calibrators, power quality and motor analysers among other things.

Pyrosales, as a specialist manufacturer of standard and precision temperature measurement sensors, will be showing its range including temperature controllers, gauges, probes, thermometers and recorders for industrial use and integration.

SMC will be showcasing a range of automation products including its wireless fieldbus range.

SICK will be exhibiting a variety of innovative products including measuring instrumentation, presence detection, safety devices, sensor connectivity, distance sensors and ultrasonic technology.

Temperature Controls will be showing its complete range of temperature sensors to satisfy all industrial processes.

Ti2 will demonstrate the power of modern automation with a live display of hardware and software. Also, as the Channel Partner for CODESYS and the distributor for a wide range of well-known industrial automation brands, Ti2’s staff will be able to provide information about various integration solutions.

WIKA will be showing its high accuracy digital pressure gauge with built-in logger model CPG1500, along with ELPRO and MYRIOTA remote telemetry transmitters, suitable for IIoT and wireless monitoring and control applications. The company will also display its pressure and temperature gauges and manifolds suitable for all industrial applications, Euromisure magnetic flow meters, a range of OEM pressure transmitters, gauges and switches and RTDs and thermocouples for industrial applications.
