IICA announces Technology Expos in Tasmania
The Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation (IICA) has announced it will be holding two Technology Expos in Tasmania in November — in Launceston (14 November) and Hobart (16 November).
Tasmania has a strong and growing economy, with its major industries being mining (copper, zinc, tin iron and gold), agriculture, aquaculture, fishing, forestry and tourism. With a growing economy comes growth in employment opportunities.
The free-to-enter Technology Expos will offer access to the newest and most innovative engineering industry products and are designed for everyone involved in the engineering field — from the shop floor to the top door — including designers, engineers, technicians, operators, and purchasing and management.
Visitors can meet with national, international and local exhibitors who will show off cutting-edge developments in the instrumentation, control and automation industry.
These events are just two in a series of Technology Expos the IICA holds every year across Australia to provide an opportunity for people to view the latest technology firsthand and talk to the manufacturers, suppliers and experts who know them best.
The IICA has built a reputation over two decades for attracting leaders in the engineering field: IICA members understand the importance of taking their products and knowledge out to people in all areas across Australia.
The exhibitors are experts in their fields, and visitors will be able to save time by seeing a diverse range of suppliers and experts in one afternoon who will be able to answer any questions.
Some of the products on display will include:
- burner management and flame safeguard
- flow and level measuring and switching
- temperature and pressure transmitters
- energy monitoring and management
- variable speed drives
- PLCs
- signal conditioning and isolators
- data loggers
