Free UTS workshop for NSW manufacturers to help boost innovation
A new workshop, ‘Future-proofing NSW Manufacturing’, is being held at UTS on 14 November by a partnership between the NSW Government Boosting Business Innovation Program, the University of Technology Sydney and the Australian Industry Group.
Designed for NSW-based manufacturers, the event is a unique opportunity to reset digital transformation strategies and upskill.
Manufacturing business leaders face many challenges today including talent shortages; technology — what to invest in and when; transitioning to a green economy; and broken supply chains, to name a few.
The complimentary digital transformation workshop is put forward as a way to reassess strategic priorities through the futuremap diagnostic tool, identify skills gaps and access free micro-credential courses to train the workforce.
Following this event, attendees will have a clearer idea of where to focus over the next two years, and access to knowledge, capital and human resources to help get there. More specifically and practically, attendees will get:
- A 2-year strategic roadmap/report with recommendations and resources
- Advanced manufacturing technology insights and case studies
- Access to training, talent, grants, collaborative technology facilities and expertise
- Access to student groups to work on innovation projects
- Meetings with industry peers to exchange ideas and make new connections
