Emerson Process Management introduces new GM/MD
Emerson Process Management has introduced its new General Manager and Managing Director responsible for Australia and New Zealand: Karl Wigginton.
Wigginton has held senior roles with process control companies for more than twenty years and has worked with Emerson Process Management for a number of years, most recently in Perth as the West Australian manager for the past two years. Prior to this, he held the role as Brisbane Branch Manager for seven years, in which he was responsible for both Queensland and Papua New Guinea.
He holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation) and obtained a distinction in a Government Trade Test when he qualified as an instrument technician. Originally from South Africa, Wigginton relocated to Australia after holding a General Manager position with a leading instrumentation company in the late 1990s.
Wigginton has had an active involvement with regional and country instrumentation committees including the IICA (Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation) and SAIMC (Society for Automation, Instrumentation, Measurement and Control) over the years.
