Top performers were recognised at the 5th Annual Australian Bulk Handling Awards Night held at the Hillstone St Lucia, Brisbane on 11 November 2010. Baldor Australia was nominated for three awards: Excellence in Gears, Motors or Drives, Innovative Technology, and Supplier of the Year. This year, Baldor won the award for Excellence in Gears, Motors or Drives for its Dodge MagnaGear XTR.

Leigh Gregson, Business Development Manager Qld, who accepted the award on behalf of Baldor, said, “The category was without doubt the toughest of all with other large well-known power transmission companies nominated for the same category. I was very proud to be part of a great team of people who joined me from the Sydney and Melbourne Office (Brad Jennings Vic, Elena Zaballero NSW and Rod Loader NSW) who added so much value to an absolute great night.”

Daniel Vera, Managing Director of Baldor Australia, was very proud of his team’s effort and said, “We have a great team in Australia with everyone’s effort contributing to our success. Well done everyone and keep up the fantastic work.”

Some of Baldor’s key distributor representatives also attended the night to jointly celebrate this accolade. Baldor Australia would like to thank them for their support and recognises that these occasions are a great networking opportunity and strengthens relationships.
