Australian Technologies Competition announces Energy Resources Award
National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) is accepting entries for the inaugural Energy Resources Award as part of the Australian Technologies Competition 2016 (ATC16).
In line with NERA’s focus on maximising value to the Australian economy by having an energy resources industry that is globally competitive, growing, sustainable, innovative and diverse, the organisation is looking to identify, mentor and profile Australia’s leading technology innovators with global potential.
Winners will gain valuable access to expert mentors and connections to investors, customers, specialist advisors, grant programs and international markets.
Over the past five years, ATC has attracted 700 entries, generating $250 million in investment and project opportunities. 125 companies have benefited from the Business Accelerator Program, with many going on to international success.
Entries close on 11 July and the top semifinalists will be announced in August. Final winners in each category will be recognised at showcase events in Melbourne as part of the All-Energy Conference on 5 October and in Sydney as part of StartupWeek Sydney in early November.
