AMRF extends First Projects invitation period
The Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) being built in Bradfield City Centre is set to open in 2024. The AMRF will provide the facilities, experts and equipment for manufacturers to develop next-generation solutions for the production, scale-up and commercialisation of prototypes; upskill staff; and enable collaboration between industry and research partners.
The AMRF announced Invitations for First Projects (IFP) on 17 October 2023 for businesses to submit project proposals and feedback on the AMRF. Due to the high level of responses and interest received so far, the AMRF has announced it is extending the Invitation for First Projects (IFP) for two more weeks to close on Tuesday, 28 November 2023. This will not impact the progress of the proposals already submitted. The AMRF team will continue to assess and scope these projects as they are received.
Those interested can submit a response by completing the Response Template to be among the first to leverage the opportunities offered by the new AMRF. Alternatively, it is possible to book a time with AMRF staff via amrf@wpca.sydney to speak directly with the team.
The mission of the AMRF is to build an advanced manufacturing ecosystem by accelerating the adoption of enabling technologies to help businesses to develop solutions from functional prototypes through to qualified manufacturing processes, pursue research-led innovation and scale their business quickly, affordably and to the highest standards.
