Adelaide to host corrosion prevention conference
Adelaide Convention Centre will host some of the world’s leading researchers and practitioners in the field of corrosion management prevention on 11–14 November. Delegates will travel from all parts of the globe to share their knowledge and experience.
Corrosion & Prevention 2018 will showcase the latest advancements in corrosion prevention and management. More than 400 delegates are expected to attend from a broad range of industries including protective coatings, water, defence, building and construction, mining, oil and gas, cathodic protection and power.
The event will also feature a trade exhibition with more than 60 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services. This year’s exhibition will provide the opportunity for corrosion professionals, interested parties and the general public to meet with the exhibitors. There will also be a demonstration zone for exhibitors to showcase a product and give those interested the chance to ask questions and be hands on over the lunchbreak period.
In addition to the technical program and trade exhibition, Corrosion & Prevention 2018 will also include a new addition to the event — an Applicator Trade Day to be held on Tuesday, 13 November. Presented by the ACA and BlastOne International, the Applicator Trade Day will include a BlastOne site visit demonstrating mist and vapour blasting equipment, traditional blasting equipment, spray equipment, dust collector and vacuload and interceptor training.
Corrosion & Prevention 2018 would not be complete without the social program that attendees have come to know and love. This year’s event is no exception, with a wide variety of social functions all featuring top-class entertainment, gourmet food and wine. Partners attending can take part in the Partner Program, which includes a Barossa Valley Food and Wine Experience, Jurlique Farm and Hahndorf tour and a Private Central Market Tour interactive gourmet experience.
