ABB re-launches Australian Graduate Program

Thursday, 13 March, 2008

ABB Australia is calling for applicants to its graduate program for future business leaders.

The program provides an opportunity for electrical, electronics, mechanical and mechatronics graduates to join a global company and experience four months overseas in the first two years of employment. Further training, mentoring and learning opportunities are also provided.

“ABB’s graduate program was introduced in 2005 in order to recruit and develop the future leaders of ABB,” John Gaskell, ABB Australia CEO said.

“Throughout their rotations, graduates are constantly given the opportunity to test their skills and to learn from and impress business managers across the organisation. Our graduates have been given a variety of challenges and accountabilities and the results both for the business and for the individuals so far have been outstanding.

“Once at the end of the two-year rotation program, our graduates are hot property for the business. Our senior leadership team has a vested interest in the growth and development of our young talent and we look forward to the continued success of the program,” he said.

Applications close on 30 April 2008.
