ADLINK Technology has launched the MXA-200 Arm-based 5G IIoT gateway with a 1.6 GHz NXP i.MX 8M Plus quad Arm Cortex-A53 processor. The MXA-200 5G IIoT gateway is designed to provide high performance with low power consumption in a rugged and fanless package with an optional external heatsink and is offered with wireless options for Bluetooth, wireless LAN, 4G and 5G.

The MXA-200 Arm-based 5G IIoT Gateway has a 1.6 GHz NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor with 4x Arm Cortex-A53 cores, providing high performance while keeping power consumption as low as possible.

The NXP i.MX 8M offers high-performance graphics, virtualisation and security for AI, graphics and industrial applications, and claims a 10- to 15-year product life. It features high-efficiency computing with 64-bit Quad Cortex-A53, is ready for AI with integrated NPU 2.3 TOPS and is protected with TPM 2.0 for data security.

The ADLINK MXA-200 Arm-based 5G IIoT gateway helps bring about remote edge network capabilities by providing operating system support for Debian 11, Yocto and Windows 10 IoT. Hardware integration is accelerated with mounting options such as DIN rail and wall mounting, making the installation into machines and control cabinets simple.
